Unifor 2002 is pleased to announce that members of Jazz Crew Scheduling in Halifax have ratified a four-year Memorandum of Settlement (MOS) by one-hundred percent.

The MOS, which was ratified earlier today, will be incorporated into the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. The current CBA will remain "as is" with the exception of the provisions agreed to in the Memorandum of Settlement.

"This agreement with Jazz Aviation LP is positive news for Unifor members, particularly at a time when Canadian aviation continues to struggle in the shadow of ongoing restrictions," said Don Ross, Unifor Local 2002 Interim President. "Congratulations to our Jazz Crew Scheduling membership and bargaining team for obtaining this agreement, and providing some positive news for our sector."

Unifor 2002 members within this unit assign flying schedules to both pilot and flight attendants' crews for Jazz Aviation flights. They also monitor crew movements on a daily basis and reroute crews as needed based on operational requirements. 85% of the membership participated in this vote.

The term of the MOS is valid effective on July 1, 2021 until June 30, 2025.
