The Bargaining Committee is writing to provide you with an update on the grievances that were filed in response to Jazz's announcement on September 1st, 2023, and the subsequent impact on Jazz CSA at some bases in Atlantic Canada.

Grievance Filed and Timeline – per the Collective Agreement
As per the collective agreement, our Bargaining Committee filed three group grievances and a Policy grievance addressing the issue. The step 2 hearings for these grievances were scheduled and took place yesterday, September 18th. We presented our case and are now awaiting the company's response.

According to the grievance timeline outlined in the collective agreement, the company has fifteen (15) days from today to respond to the Union regarding their position on the grievances. During this time, we will closely monitor any developments and keep you informed as soon as we receive the company's response.

We understand the frustration and stress that this situation has caused amongst our membership. Your patience and solidarity during this process are greatly appreciated.

We are committed to representing your interests and ensuring a fair resolution in these matters.

In Solidarity,
