Jazz Tech: Vacation grievance update

EMPLOYEE UPDATE

The Union filed a policy grievance against the Company regarding the process being followed pertaining to the calculation of vacation slots.  A step two hearing was held and the grievance was denied.

The Union informed the Company that it wished to advance the grievance to the expedited arbitration process for an immediate resolution. The Company responded that it would only have the grievance pursued through a full arbitration process.

CAW Local 2002, in conjunction with the National Union are currently engaged in the necessary steps to have this process carried out as expeditiously as possible.
