BARGAINING UPDATE
On March 3rd 2009 in keeping with the provisions of the Canada Labor Code, formal notice to bargain a new Collective Agreement was filed with the employer. Over the course of the next fifteen days the Bargaining Committee will meet with Management to try and negotiate the Maintenance of Activities Agreement. Upon completion of the Maintenance of Activities Agreement process, a date for “Opening” and subsequent Bargaining dates will be set. More updates will be made as they become available.
