BARGAINING UPDATE
The Bargaining Committee and Company have been involved in negotiations in Toronto since August 24 with Federal Mediation Officer Paul Macdonell. The conciliation/mediation process will conclude on Saturday, August 29th.
On Monday August 31, the Union will be in a position to serve seventy-two (72) hours notice to the Company for legal labour action. On Monday the Bargaining Committee will be instructing the Union District Chairpersons to commence preparation for labour action.
Any member interested in taking on the position of Strike Captain, please contact your District Chairperson.
