The CAW Jazz Technical Services unit has completed its District Chairperson
elections ahead of the rest of the Local because of contractual imperatives. The
results are as follows:
- 711- Tom Troughton - Acclaimed
- 712- Stacey Laliberte - Acclaimed
- 713- Michel Ruffie - Elected
- 714- Patrick Chiasson - Acclaimed
- 715- Terry Fenerty - Acclaimed
- 716- Grant Anastas – Acclaimed

The new terms are effective starting September 1, 2008.
On behalf of the Local and our Jazz Tech membership, I would like to
congratulate all the District Chairs as they start their new term. A special
thanks to Michel Ruffie and those members who ran for this position at District
713 – London. As well, thanks to Mike Lilly and Jack Selinger who did not run in
their respective locations, but while in office did give their members honest
representation during their terms. Great job guys!
I look forward to working with our new and returning District Chair team.
