Today, Unifor met with Jervis B. Webb management
(as previously scheduled) to resume collective bargaining talks. Unfortunately
the day concluded earlier than expected due to lack of progress on behalf of
Management. As a result, Unifor has filed for conciliation.
Your Unifor Bargaining Committee is holding
membership meetings on August 4th for all members of District 370. The purpose
of the meetings is to bring members up to speed on what has, and has not
occurred since talks began with the employer.
The Committee would like to explain first-hand the
conciliation process and give an opportunity for you to ask any questions you
may have. Unifor strongly encourages all Local 2002 members at Jervis B. Webb to
attend one of these important meetings.
