Dear Unifor Local 2002 Members,
As the year closes, it is our opportunity to look back at 2023. Our Local is comprised of over 13,000 members in 36 separate contracts spread across the country. With such great diversity, every year brings with it some remarkable achievements as well as difficult challenges. Regardless of where you are on that scale, we look to 2024 with optimism and a desire to achieve better for our members.
We have many outstanding leaders who are dedicated, passionate and who will fight against any injustice they encounter. The union doesn’t work in isolation, it works best through strength and solidarity. I am confident that, together, we can achieve great things. With your involvement and dedication, we will overcome challenges, build on our successes and strive for a better future together.
On behalf of the entire Local 2002 Executive Board, we extend warm wishes and good health to you, your friends, and your families. May this festive season be filled with moments of happiness and meaningful connections with those who matter most to you.
May the spirit of unity and solidarity continue to guide us in 2024.
