February is a time to celebrate Black History Month. Black History Month is a time to celebrate and remember all the ways that Black Canadians have contributed to Canada’s history and culture.  In honour of Black History month – the Local 2002 AWOC Committee will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, February 22, at 1900 EST

The webinar will feature guest speaker Lezlie Harper. She will speak on the topic of freedom seekers' journey to Canada. Members interested in the webinar are asked to register with Ada Zampini AWOC Liaison to the Executive Board and Vice President – Eastern Region.
