A week ago, Aimia announced that Air Canada may
not renew their contact in 2020. This was followed by an equally surprising announcement that Air Canada intended to launch their own loyalty program.
While it is early in the process and there really is no substantive vision of what an Air Canada in-house loyalty program could look like, we are strategizing over potential outcomes. We have engaged our legal department and they are currently reviewing the situation from all angles. It will also take some time to get a more complete picture from Air Canada on its view of where and how they envision this happening.
We understand it will be difficult, but we do ask for some patience while we work to get you more answers.
