Human Rights Advocates required for Unifor Local 2002

In accordance with the Unifor Local 2002 Executive Board, two (2) positions for Human Rights Advocates are being posted.
  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Unifor Local 2002's Human Rights Coordinator as needed

  • Assist in the delivery of workshops in the area of human rights as directed by the Human Rights Coordinator

  • Assist in conducting workplace harassment investigations as directed by the Human Rights Coordinator

  • Must be active in the community and trade union movement in the area of human rights

  • Note: this position involves travel and participating in training sessions
      

Any member of Local 2002 in good standing who is interested in applying should send a cover letter and provide detailed resume outlining all particular experience in the area of human rights, union activism, and the reasons for applying for the position no later than noon (1200) eastern standard time on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
