Red Cross: British Columbia Fires

Instructions from the Canadian Red Cross for those members and their families directly impacted by the wildfires.

  

At the request of the Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness, the Canadian Red Cross in partnership with the Regional District of Central Okanagan is providing accommodation support (in form of group lodging) to help people impacted by the fires in the Central Okanagan region

• In partnership with the Regional District of Central Okanagan, a Red Cross Reception Centre at Prospera Place (1223 Water Street, Kelowna) is available for people that have been impacted by the wildfires.

• Residents who require assistance in the Central Okanagan region are asked to register online at
  ess.gov.bc.ca

  

The Government of British Columbia is providing updated information for those impacted by the fires in several ways

  emergencyinfobc.gov.bc.ca

• For more information on the wildfire situation, BC Wildfire Service is providing updates online at
