Local 2002 is pleased to announce that it has reached a tentative agreement with Porter Airlines Inc. Toronto, for approximately 200 ramp attendants and customer service representatives and ambassadors.
The bargaining committees for both groups worked long hours to secure a substantive first collective agreement for Unifor members at Porter Airlines.
Congratulations to elected representatives Greg Hume, Eddy Candia, Courtney Chick (who represent approximately 73 ramp attendants) and David Robinson, Heather Back and Carlos Denaro (representing 125 customer service agents and ambassadors), along with Assistant to the Local President Theresa Amicarelli and National Representative Joel Fournier .
Complete details of the tentative agreement will be presented to the membership at ratification meetings scheduled for Monday 27 April 2015.
