Unifor Local 2002 would like to announce that they have reached a tentative collective agreement for Ramp members at Porter Airlines in Toronto.

"I am extremely pleased with the efforts of the Unifor bargaining committee on reaching this new tentative agreement," said Euila Leonard, Unifor 2002 President. "We have been in talks since May, 2018 and the Unifor committee has been determined from day-one to obtain the best possible deal for the membership."

The current collective agreement – which remains in effect until a new contract is ratified – expired on April 28, 2018. Details of the tentative agreement will not be released publicly until the agreement is presented to members for ratification.

Members will have an opportunity to hear details of the tentative agreement and vote at the upcoming ratification meeting(s) which are scheduled for February 19, 2019. Specific details of the time(s) and location of the ratification meeting(s) will be communicated once they are finalized. As per the Local 2002 Bylaws, voting will only take place during the scheduled ratification meetings. Bargaining committee representatives will present the details and will be available to discuss the tentative agreement.

Your Unifor Bargaining Committee unanimously endorses this Tentative Agreement and recommends that you vote "Yes" for acceptance.
