The Bargaining Committee would like to provide the Swissport- Toronto members with an update on the recent Union-Company negotiations that took place on July 12 &13, 2023. During these negotiations, we focused on addressing the non-monetary proposals that were gathered from the surveys and proposal meetings attended by the membership.
NON-MONETARY PROPOSALS
We are pleased to inform you that we have made significant progress in advancing the non-monetary items, thanks to the hard work of the Bargaining Committee. The next round of negotiations is scheduled for August, during which we will present the monetary proposals. Please be advised that we cannot divulge specific details of the negotiations at this time, as we must respect the confidentiality of the process. Rest assured that our main objective is to garner a great collective agreement for the membership. We are determined to advocate for your interests during the bargaining process.
We will keep you informed of any further developments as they occur. In the meantime, we encourage all members to continue to support our bargaining team and to stand together in solidarity.
