Élections
Le Comité d’élection est constitué de trois membres et de trois membres suppléants en règle. Il est habilité à tenir toutes les élections régulières et complémentaires au Bureau exécutif, au Comité des femmes et à toutes les fonctions électives qui doivent être comblées dans le cadre du Congrès conformément à ce que prévoit l’article 4.3.02 des Règlements.
Le Comité d’élection de la section locale supervise l’élection des comités de négociation. Il a également pour responsabilité de superviser les élections organisées par les comités d’élection des districts au moyen d’un scrutin en milieu de travail. Après chaque élection régulière ou complémentaire, il doit soumettre au Bureau exécutif un rapport écrit où sont précisés les détails et les résultats de l’élection. De temps à autre, le Comité d’élection peut recommander au Bureau exécutif d’approuver des procédures nouvelles ou modifiées pour la conduite des élections régulières ou complémentaires.
