Jazz Technical Services (JTS) (Halifax) - District 715
Our members at JTS are employed in Halifax and they are trained in performing heavy maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft to third parties including Jazz Aviation and Air Georgian. Jazz Technical Services/JTS is (a division of Jazz Aviation LP) and in June 2017, JTS became an Authorized Service Facility (ASF) for Bombardier. Jazz/JTS is one of only 14 airlines recognized by Bombardier Commercial Aircraft Reliability Awards. Since 2013, Jazz has been the recipient of 11 Reliability Awards – more than any airline in the world. Our Local represents approximately 400 members at JTS.
Porter Airlines (Toronto) District: 361
Our Ramp Attendant members are employed at Toronto’s Billy Bishop Toronto City airport. They perform ground handling and ramp duties for Porter Airlines. Ground handling duties include: marshaling of aircraft, baggage handling, lavatory servicing, and aircraft towing. Porter Airlines operates regularly scheduled flights between Toronto, and locations in Canada and the United States using Bombardier Dash-8 Q400 turboprop aircraft. As of 2017, Porter Airlines flies to 16 Canadian cities and 8 US cities and they are conveniently located near the downtown financial and tourism core of Toronto. We have been proudly representing the Porter members since 2014.

ir Canada In-Flight Crew Scheduling (Toronto and Montreal) District: 412
Our members manage and oversee the daily flight crew schedules for flight attendants. They also provide effective and timely communication with In-Flight Crew as it relates to scheduling activity and schedule deviations. They analyze irregular operations and make effective scheduling decisions, book deadhead travel, hotels, and transportation for crews, whilst interpreting and administering the CUPE collective agreements. Air Canada is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Canada by fleet size and passengers carried. The airline, founded in 1937, provides scheduled and charter air transport for passengers and cargo to 207 destinations worldwide. We are delighted to have been serving these members needs for over 27 years.
