As we come to the end of the year, the Local 2002 Executive Board and I would like to wish all of our members and their families a wonderful and safe holiday season.
We have much to celebrate this year; our Local has ratified a record number of collective agreements, our activists have taken part in political and social events, and our union has led the fight for fairness and respect in our workplaces and in our communities.
As we celebrate the holidays with our families and friends, many Unifor members will be working throughout the busy season. We thank you for your continued commitment and solidarity.
During this season of gratitude, let us strengthen the bonds of solidarity in our workplaces and neighborhoods by remembering to reach out to those that have faced hardships. It is in these times of stress and anxiety that we need to look after one another.
As we look to 2020, let us continue to work together to advance our collective objectives for our union and members.
In the spirit of goodwill and solidarity, we wish you the warmth of the holiday season and the very best for 2020.
