We understand that ASP has paid out the agreed-to bonus and retro payments for those members that qualified as a result of the 2024 ratification vote of the new collective bargaining agreement.
We understand that members have been inquiring with locally elected union representatives about how the amounts paid were determined by ASP. Your Unifor District Chairperson has contacted the employer and ASP has advised that if anyone is seeking to have an explanation of the amount, such as the number of hours paid and the specific rate, to email ASP accounting at the following email address:
Remember that if the rate of pay you were being paid, matches the level on the new wage chart there would be no retroactive amounts owing. If there is any doubt, or if you require further information, please email ASP at the above-mentioned email.
Additionally, please do not hesitate to CC (i.e. carbon copy) any of your locally elected union representatives when communicating with the employer.
The Unifor National and your elected Unifor Bargaining Committee are working to finalize the new collective agreement. Once the text of the document is completed, copies will be printed. An electronic copy of the new contract will also be available on the Local 2002 website in PDF format.
