Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that our members at A.S.P. Security, Toronto have ratified a new four-year collective agreement by 76.1%. Members had been without a new contract since December 31, 2022.

"Congratulations to both the A.S.P. membership and the Unifor bargaining committee for their unwavering resolve to secure a new collective agreement," said Tammy Moore, Unifor Local 2002 President. "This has been a long and gruelling process for the hardworking members at A.S.P. Security, and I am pleased to finally see a new contract in place that provides improvements to pay, benefits and additional enhancements that sets a new standard for future rounds of bargaining."

The new four-year contract includes wage increases for the duration of the contract, retro pay back to December 31, 2022 for full time, part time and casual employees, as well as improvements to medical language, and benefits. There are also enhancements to the grievance procedure, training, and language for a new Racial Justice Advocate position.

The Bargaining Committee we would like to thank the membership for their continued show of support and solidarity throughout negotiations.

Negotiations between the union and employer commenced on March 23, 2023 with the intent of reaching a new contract.

Unifor Local 2002 is part of Unifor – Canada's largest private sector union – representing 315,000 workers in every major area of the economy.
