ASP Security Members: Tentative Agreement Reached

RATIFICATION DETAILS

Unifor and ASP Security Services are proud to announce that the parties have reached a tentative agreement for the more than 400 members of Unifor Local 2002. The tentative agreement is subject to a ratification vote by the membership and is unanimously being recommended by your Unifor bargaining committee. This deal contains additional money, including retro pay for full time, part time and casual employees. In addition, further money has been added into the general wage increase for the life of the agreement. Further details will be available at the upcoming ratification meetings.

This message contains important details concerning upcoming information sessions and how voting will take place. Please read carefully. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak with a representative from your bargaining committee.

  

INFORMATION SESSIONS

Unifor will holding an in-person as well as a virtual information session to review details of the tentative agreement and answer any questions you may have. Meetings will be held as follows:

  

IN-PERSON INFORMATION SESSION

Thursday, April 18th, 2024
Time: 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Sheraton Gateway Hotel T3
P.E. Trudeau boardroom on the conference level

  

VIRTUAL INFORMATION SESSION (ZOOM)

Thursday, April 18th, 2024
Time: 5:30PM – 7:00 PM

* Zoom details will be sent to member’s last updated personal email on file with Unifor Local 2002 prior to the meeting April 18th, 2024.

  

For in-person and virtual information sessions, Unifor National representatives will be present to answer any questions you may have about the tentative agreement.

  

VOTING PROCESS

All voting will be conducted electronically. You do NOT have to attend an information session to receive a ballot, however, all members are encouraged to attend a meeting to have any questions answered.

All members in good standing will automatically receive a ballot via their last updated personal email address on file with Unifor Local 2002. Please add [email protected] to your email contacts to avoid the message going to your trash/junk mail folder.

Ballots will be sent on Thursday April 18th at approximately 10:00 AM. If you do not receive a ballot by 12:00 PM on Thursday, please contact [email protected] to request one.

Voting will open at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 18th and remain open until 10:00 PM on Thursday, April 18th (same day).

  

COPY OF THE TENTATIVE AGREEMENT

A PDF copy of the tentative agreement will be sent to all members (at their last updated personal email address) prior to the in-person meeting on April 18th, 2024. This will ensure you have all of the necessary information available prior to casting your vote.
