After 2 days of information sessions, both virtually and in-person, Unifor Local 2002 is announcing that the tentative agreement with A.S.P. Incorporated (as presented) has been rejected by a majority of those that cast ballots.
Next steps, per the signed memorandum of settlement, clause number 7;
"Should the tentative agreement not be ratified, both parties agree that neither shall take any further steps under the Canada Labour Code without first meeting with a Conciliator from Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and use good faith efforts to attempt to resolve all outstanding issues."
Once additional information is available, your committee will share the details with you through a further communication.
