Aeroplan Members Vote to Ratify New Agreement

Unifor Local 2002 members who work for Aeroplan have voted in favour of a new collective agreement. At the close of voting on December 4, 2019, the Aeroplan members, who are based in Vancouver and Montreal, voted 97 per cent in favour of the new agreement.

Among the accomplishments include language in the collective agreement for a single pay scale, lump-sum payment for employees hired prior to April 15, 2016, wage increases, and signing bonus. The agreement will go into effect immediately and will expire on December 31st, 2024.

"After four months of negotiations, our members have an agreement that respects, supports, and compensates our members,” said Euila Leonard – President – Unifor Local 2002. "Congratulations to the Aeroplan Members and Bargaining Committee, this agreement is a direct result of members standing strong and united in solidarity with their Bargaining Committee to reach a deal without concessions".
