Dear Sisters and Brothers,
The bargaining committee completed its third week of negotiations in
Montreal. Much discussion and effort has been put into resolving some important
outstanding issues.
Progress has been progressing very slowly.
The company had a consulting firm give the committee a presentation on data
comparisons with respect to call centers versus Aeroplan Contact Centres.
Your bargaining committee took a strong stance and reminded the company that
the Aeroplan Contact Centres are unique and so are the CAW members who are loyal
and experienced individuals that make up the core of this organization.
