Solidarity in times of change at Aeroplan

Aeroplan District Union officers from both Montreal and Vancouver met with the CAW National and Local 2002 leadership in Montreal on Thursday April 25, 2013. The purpose of the meeting was to address the growing concerns being raised by the membership in both offices around the changing culture in the two workplaces initiated by the company and how to deal with it.

Union officers received education and encouragement on how to deal with the multitude of grievances filed and with the various situations with management that directly affect the membership.

Officers will continue to receive support and communication from the CAW leadership and this will in turn be communicated to the membership. Membership meetings will be scheduled quarterly to ensure communication and connection with the membership of Aeroplan.

Through a membership built on solidarity members can focus and support one another through this time of change.
