Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that the tentative agreement reached with Aeroplan has been ratified by 96 per cent.

The negotiated benefits of the three-year collective agreement include:

  • Wage Increases retroactive to November 2015 – 2% per year
  • Benefits improvement
  • New work: Web functions, Social Media, Non air reward work

"The Bargaining Committee has done an excellent job taking the membership’s concerns and turning them into an agreement that provides job security and gains for workers in Montreal and Vancouver," said Cheryl Robinson, Unifor 2002 President.

"I would like to thank the Aeroplan bargaining committee and the membership for their hard work, support and patience throughout talks. In the face of layoffs and changes, the Unifor 2002 membership at Aeroplan has supported the bargaining committee during the months of negotiations, all the way through to the conciliation process. The solidarity with — and confidence in — the committee was instrumental in achieving the goals set out many months ago at the proposal meetings."

Unifor would like to thank all of the members who took the time to attend the meetings over the last two days and ratify this new collective agreement.

In solidarity,

Your bargaining committee
