Air Canada: T2200 Policy Grievance for 2023

Air Canada: T2200 Policy Grievance for 2023

April 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM

In late February, the union filed a policy grievance citing a violation of L34.04 (e), for the commitment to issue a T2200 for tax purposes. On March 26, the bargaining committee made its case in Step 2 discussions with Labour Relations for this policy grievance.

We are delighted that late last week, the company informed us the grievance will be upheld, and that T2200 forms will be issued for all work-from-home members for the 2023 tax year. The company has committed to releasing more details early this week.
