Unifor Local 2002 would like to congratulate and welcome
Janet Williams to the position of Women’s Advocate for Air Canada Central Region.
Janet is from District 301 and is based at Toronto, Airport.
The Advocate will provide assistance to women and members who are faced with situations of harassment, violence, or abuse in the workplace or in their personal lives. The specially trained Advocate is there to help women access workplace or community services and offer them support through this process
Our union has been a leader in the effort to eliminate violence against women. Supporting women and those that empower women is essential to achieving gender equality.
