In March of 2019, the Union announced that the early bargaining with Air Canada had come to an end as the Company was not prepared to put forward an agreement that would meet the expectations of our membership. The current collective agreement expires on February 29, 2020, and as the committee prepares to open a new round of bargaining, proposal meetings will be held across the country and bargaining dates have been secured to open on October 8, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario.
The Unifor Bargaining Committee Members, National Staff Representative – Leslie Dias, Local 2002 President – Euila Leonard will be holding contract proposal meetings across Canada to meet with members and to discuss proposals from you, the members, to set the bargaining priorities between the Union and Company. The Committee will visit the Reservation Offices, Customer Relations, Customer Journey Management, and Airport locations.

POWER IN UNITY
Member participation is the power that will be used to propel the bargaining agenda. All members are encouraged to attend a meeting. Bargaining proposals will form the basis and the priorities that the Bargaining Committee will bring to the bargaining table.
If you have any questions, please contact your District Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons, or your Bargaining Representatives. Unifor is committed to communicating updates on a regular basis.
Throughout the bargaining process, updates will continue to be issued through bulletins and on the Unifor 2002 website. Please ensure that you have subscribed to Unifor 2002 e-news at unifor2002.org.
