Air Canada Mainline: Bargaining Committee Update on Retro Pay

Air Canada Mainline: Bargaining Committee Update on Retro Pay

July 9, 2026 at 9:30 AM

The pay statement for the week of July 15 will show the new wage rate, however due to system limitations that are being worked on, the longevity premium will not be sent out on this pay cycle. Air Canada has advised us that an off-cycle cheque will be issued for retroactive wages, and the afternoon shift premium back to March 1. However, they do not have an exact date currently. The longevity premium will be retroactive to June 20th. We have asked Air Canada to advise us in advance so we can keep you informed.

The employer has also advised that the Manulife benefit booklet has been updated. They are still working on the pension website and calculator.

If you have questions about pay issues, please contact the HR Centre of Excellence and copy your District Chairperson.
