Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that our members at Alliance Ground International (AGI), Toronto, have overwhelmingly ratified their new three-year agreement following ratification meetings held today. The agreement received
84 percent approval from the voting members, reflecting strong support for the gains achieved at the bargaining table. The agreement is in effect until
April 7, 2028.
Members’ priorities were clear throughout the negotiations: securing meaningful wage increases and enhanced premiums to keep pace with rising costs and recognize the demanding nature of their work. The bargaining committee delivered on these fronts, negotiating robust improvements that strengthen job security and overall compensation for frontline workers.
“This ratification is a testament to the dedication and unity of our AGI Toronto members”, said Tammy Moore, President of Unifor Local 2002. “In a challenging industry, we’ve secured the wage gains and protections our workers deserve, ensuring they can focus on critical cargo and ground handling that keep Toronto’s aviation hub running smoothly.”
