Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that, late this evening, following ratification meetings in Vancouver, the Unifor Local 2002 members of CLS Catering have ratified their new agreement. The membership
voted 79 percent in favour of the new agreement.
After five months of diligent negotiations, a strike vote and the assistance of a provincial mediator, we are pleased that our members have supported this new deal. The agreement includes wage increases over the duration of the agreement, enhanced benefits, and other significant improvements.
“I am pleased that the members have ratified this three-year agreement. I want to acknowledge our hard-working members at CLS Catering who are a valued asset, providing essential catering services to airlines operating out of Vancouver International Airport. Special thanks to the Bargaining Committee for their steadfast resolve and to all the CLS members who supported their efforts and the union”, said Tammy Moore, President – Unifor Local 2002.
