In an effort to continue negotiations, the bargaining committee cancelled the strike vote meeting and in good faith, met again with the company over the past three days. The committee is determined to obtain a fair progressive agreement for its members.
Unfortunately, the employer did not return to the table prepared to negotiate a favourable contract.
Therefore, the membership meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday May 13, 2014. The bargaining committee is requesting that all members attend and to be prepared to take a strike vote.
