Negotiations will be commencing in April for approximately 400 members at CLS Catering at Vancouver airport, whose contract expires April 30, 2014.
Your bargaining committee: Lillian Chen, Harry Achari, Nachatter Grewal, Alan Sun, Executive Assistant Theresa Amicarelli and Unifor National Representative Sandi Mcmanus have been preparing to begin negotiations. Comprehensive surveys were disturbed to the membership and results were studied and tabulated.
In addition, meetings were held throughout the day until 8 p.m. on March 13, 2014 at the Delta Hotel in Richmond, B.C., in order for members to speak to the issues and participate in the negotiation process; proposals were discussed and prioritized.
Your bargaining committee will be meeting with the employer on April 2, 2014 with more dates to follow.
