We are writing to inform you about the upcoming contract negotiations between Unifor Local 2002 and Canadian North, scheduled for late September. As part of this process, we have organized virtual proposal meetings for all our members across Canada to participate in. These meetings are a crucial opportunity for you to be informed about the survey results gathered from the membership and to be part of the review and voting process for the proposals that will be taken to the negotiation table with the Company.
ZOOM PROPOSAL MEETINGS:
If your schedule conflicts with your designated meeting time, you are welcome to attend any of the other meetings to ensure your participation.
We want to stress the importance of your attendance at these proposal meetings. As we gear up for the bargaining process, these gatherings provide a platform for you to voice your concerns and express your needs directly to the Bargaining Committee. Your input plays a pivotal role in shaping the proposals that will be presented to the Company.
VOTING PROCESS:
During these meetings, we will present the proposals that our committee plans to present to the Company. You will have the opportunity to vote on these proposals. Your participation in this process is essential, as your votes will contribute to the final decisions that will affect the terms of our contract.
Your involvement matters, and we strongly urge all members of Canadian North to participate in these proposal meetings. This is your chance to make your voice heard and to actively contribute to the negotiation process.
