This communication is to inform all Unifor-CAS members of upcoming contract negotiations between Unifor Local 2002 and Cargo Airport Services Canada (CAS). Negotiations are scheduled to begin before the end of this year. Unifor has already sent you bargaining surveys this past September, but as a follow-up to the surveys, we have organized a virtual membership meeting on October 24, 2024 at 18h00 ET. This meeting is an opportunity for you to be informed about the survey results and how the negotiations process will progress.
We want to stress the importance of your attendance at these proposal meetings. As we gear up for the bargaining process, this meeting will provide a platform for you to voice your concerns and express your needs directly to the Unifor Bargaining Committee.
Your involvement is important and we strongly encourage all members of CAS to participate. This is your opportunity to have your voice heard and to actively contribute to the negotiation process.
