Worldwide Flight Services: Toronto Contract
Worldwide Flight Services: Toronto Contract
December 19, 2007 at 12:00 AM
Worldwide Flight Services at Toronto’s Terminal 3 announces the loss of a contract with the GTAA (Greater Toronto Airport Authority) at the oversize belt areas. Due to this loss, 14 CAW members will be laid off effective December 31, 2007. These jobs have been operating on a month-to-month basis for some time now. The GTAA has automated this area in the airport at Toronto’s Terminal 3. The CAW is working with the company to offer employment to these members in other work locations in Toronto. We will provide further information as it becomes available.
