We want to update you on the ongoing negotiations with the Company. Your Bargaining Committee met with the employer, supported by the conciliator appointed on June 14th.
As of today’s discussions, there remains a significant divide between the parties, particularly concerning monetary matters. Despite our continued efforts to narrow this gap, substantial progress is still required to reach a mutually acceptable agreement. Considering these developments, and to safeguard the best interests of all union members, Unifor will be organizing information sessions and pursuing a strike mandate.
