GTAA Collective Bargaining Update: Productive Month of Meetings

GTAA Collective Bargaining Update: Productive Month of Meetings

May 31, 2019 at 3:30 PM

UNIFOR 2002

Unifor Local 2002 and the GTAA have had collaborative and productive discussions during the month of May, with the purpose of negotiating a new collective agreement.

To date, the majority of the non-monetary items have been agreed upon by both the Union and Company. To continue the positive momentum, both parties presented their monetary proposals and discussions have ensued.

Prior to resuming further discussions with the GTAA, the monetary proposals will require additional time to work through but know that we are committed to working through these proposals to secure a fair and equitable collective agreement for the membership.

Please be advised, in order to protect the integrity of the negotiations between both parties, the Committee is not able to discuss specific details with the membership while in collective bargaining, as this is common practice.

We would like to thank the membership for their support and we will continue to keep you informed of any further developments.
