GardaWorld - Calgary Members Ratify New Three-Year Agreement

July 7, 2023 at 11:26 PM

Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that late this evening our members employed at GardaWorld Calgary have successfully ratified their new-three-year agreement. During the ratification meetings held earlier today, members voted 51 percent in favour of the new agreement. This marks an important milestone as it is the first collective agreement with Unifor since joining Local 2002 in June of 2022.

The new agreement includes several key highlights that will greatly benefit our members. Wage lump sums for full and part-time workers improvements to benefits – break times, bereavement, statutory holidays, annual vacations, and pension provisions are among the significant features of this agreement.

MESSAGE FROM TAMMY MOORE – PRESIDENT UNIFOR LOCAL 2002
