Your Unifor bargaining committee is pleased to announce that earlier today a tentative agreement was reached with the employer. The current contract expired December 31, 2021.

"The strength of the Unifor bargaining team is always contingent on the support of the members," said Tammy Moore, President of Unifor Local 2002. "This was a difficult round of negotiations after the pandemic critically impacted the hospitality sector, including our Hilton members in Saint John, New Brunswick. The Unifor committee remained focused to negotiate a new contract that will provide gains for these hardworking members."

In-person ratification meetings will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Specific details of the location and times will be communicated in a follow-up message.

The committee wishes to thank the membership for their steadfast support throughout the negotiations process. Unifor has, and remains, committed to making gains for all workers in every sector in Canada.

In Solidarity,
