Update: Jazz CSA/ACS: Base Membership Meetings to continue in 2022

Update: Jazz CSA/ACS: Base Membership Meetings to continue in 2022

December 21, 2021 at 4:00 PM

Earlier this month, your Unifor 2002 Bargaining Committee wrapped up the first leg of proposal meetings for Jazz CSA/ACS members. The 12-base, cross-Canada tour was deemed very positive by the membership and gave the Bargaining Committee an opportunity to meet and discuss ongoing workplace issues with members who are nearing the conclusion of their five-year collective agreement.

"This is a much-needed base tour, and I commend the work of our bargaining team and their endurance and dedication to meet with members at all forty 40 Jazz bases," said Tammy Moore, Unifor Local 2002 President. "There is much work still to do ahead of negotiations, and this Committee will be ready to bargain a new contract for our hard-working Jazz workers."

The second leg of the Unifor Jazz CSA/ACS base tour is currently scheduled to begin in early January.

We are watching the current COVID-19 situation and may pivot these meetings online (i.e. Zoom Video) if community transmission remains on the current trajectory. Our top priority is to keep Unifor members, and all members of our communities safe.

The Committee is finalizing the schedule and will announce dates, times, and locations. Please check this link regularly as details may change.
