Several months ago, your Unifor Bargaining Committee initiated discussions with Jazz Aviation concerning the option for members to accept an alternate work shift that is greater in length.
Up until now, there had been no process and/or language in place in the collective agreement. However, the company and union have agreed on terms of this arrangement in the form of a Letter of Understanding (LOU). This document was signed by both parties at the last UMHQ.
