Your Bargaining Committee, along with Local 2002 President Leslie Dias, CAW Staff Representatives Joel Fournier and Bob Orr met again with the Company this week to bargain a new collective agreement. Federal Mediation Officer Paul Macdonell also assisted the bargaining process.
After much discussion, we are pleased to announce that the CAW was able to reach a tentative agreement early this morning with the Jazz Customer Service and Aircraft Services group. This is a non-concessionary agreement with improvements to scheduling and other workplace gains as well as the elimination of the "B" scale.
A leadership meeting will be held in Toronto on Wednesday, September 2nd where details of the agreement will be addressed. A ratification schedule will be released in the coming days.
