Jazz Customer & Aircraft Service Members: Arbitration Update: Newfoundland and Labrador Grievances:

April 4, 2024 at 9:00 AM

We are to provide an update on the arbitration proceedings regarding the grievances in Newfoundland and Labrador.

After our last communication on February 2, 2024, I am pleased to inform you that we have finally secured a date for the mediation session. The parties involved will convene in Toronto on May 7th, 2024.

The primary purpose of this mediation is to address the preliminary objection raised by the company. Specifically, the company has questioned the jurisdiction of an arbitrator to hear this grievance.

Mediation presents an opportunity for both parties to engage in constructive dialogue with the assistance of a neutral third party. We aim to reach a mutually acceptable resolution to the jurisdictional issue, which will be pivotal in determining the course of the arbitration process.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or require further clarification. Thank you for your attention, and we will ensure to keep you updated on any developments following the mediation session.
