Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that members at Jazz Aviation’s Customer and Aircraft Services group have ratified a new five-year collective agreement by 55.3 per cent.

Following a series of virtual ratification meetings, Unifor members voted in favour of the deal that will provide substantial improvements including:

  • wage increases for each year of the contract (retroactive)

  • lump sum payments in years’ 2 and 3

  • signing bonus for active members

  • increase to pension

  • improved language for out-of-base allowances

  • improved language to bereavement leave

  • improved language to personal leave and sick leave

  • new language for racial justice advocates

Additionally, the bargaining committee successfully merged the A and B scales (for each division – CSA and ACS) into single wage scales by the conclusion of the new agreement.

"Our members are highly skilled and dedicated workers that provide exemplary service, making Jazz Aviation one of Canada’s top employers," said Tammy Moore, Unifor Local 2002 President. "My congratulations to the Jazz Customer Service and Aircraft Services groups for ratifying this new collective agreement. The bargaining committee would not have been able to achieve this deal without the solidarity of the membership."

The new collective agreement between Unifor and Jazz Aviation LP will remain in effect until January 1, 2027.

Unifor Local 2002 represents approximately 1,100 members at Jazz Aviation’s Customer and Aircraft Services group. Members work across Canada performing groundwork including customer service, ramp, tow-crew, and station terminal operation control (STOC).
