Unifor members at Jazz CSA/ACS reject tentative agreement

September 2, 2022 at 9:00 AM

Following a series of ratification meetings which took place this week, Unifor Local 2002 members at Jazz CSA/ACS have rejected the Tentative Agreement by a 77.6 percent margin.

"Our members have spoken, and it is clear that the Tentative Agreement presented to them was not sufficient enough to accept," said Tammy Moore, President of Unifor Local 2002. "These are hard-working members and through this global pandemic, they have gone above and beyond, making Jazz Aviation one of Canada’s top employers."

We will advise the next steps in the days ahead and will forward further details once they have been established.

We would like to thank all members that took the time to attend a virtual meeting and vote on this Tentative Agreement.

The current Unifor/Jazz Aviation contract expired on January 14, 2022.

Unifor Local 2002 represents approximately 1,100 members at Jazz Aviation’s Customer and Aircraft Services group. Members work across Canada performing groundwork including customer service, ramp, tow-crew, station terminal operation control (STOC), Departure Control Coordinator (DCC) and Load Planner.
