Jazz Tech --- Membership Update
MEMERSHIP UPDATE
There were some extreme difficulties with the recent shift bidding process, especially in the Halifax Base. Members believed that the new schedule posted by the Company was unjustified. Union Officers had worked with the Company to try and adjust the new schedule to meet the requirements of the Company and the needs of the Members.
Member’s frustrations and the Company’s reluctance to make further changes to the new schedule led to a precarious situation that caused a temporary disruption in production. The Union is currently working to resolve the situation and Members are encouraged to let that process occur.
