Unifor National has announced that Nadine Bailey has been appointed as a National Service Representative for Edmonton, Alberta, effective October 23, 2023.
Nadine has been a proud Unifor member and activist with Local 2002 Air Canada in Edmonton, for the past 16 years.
She possesses a wealth of experience in various union positions, having served as vice chairperson, acting district chairperson, EFAP committee chair for Prairie Regional Council, Edmonton coordinator for Unifor Votes and serving on the Local 2002 Election Committee.
Throughout the years, Nadine has demonstrated a genuine passion for political engagement and campaign organization, actively participating in three provincial and federal elections in Edmonton and more recently, contributing to the successful election of a NDP government in Manitoba.
In her new role, Nadine will assume the responsibility of representing a variety of Locals and units throughout Alberta, including units in Local 2002.
