The Unifor Local 2002 Executive Board is proud to announce the appointment of Stephen Lussier as Assistant to the Local 2002 President. With over 27 years of experience as a union and bargaining representative, Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, and dedication to this role.

Throughout his career, Stephen has played a pivotal role as a bargaining representative for the Eastern Region’s Air Canada Loyalty members since 2009, contributing to five rounds of collective bargaining negotiations. His efforts have led to significant gains for members, all without concessions, showcasing his skill, tenacity, and commitment to protecting workers' rights. He has been a tireless advocate for workers, successfully negotiating collective agreements, filing and arguing grievances, and supporting members in understanding and exercising their rights. His bilingual proficiency in English and French also enhances his ability to connect with our members from coast to coast.

Stephen’s vision of empowering the bargaining units within Local 2002 to better utilize their collective agreements is one we know he will execute with passion and precision. His proven experience in contract negotiations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling ensures he will excel in this new role.
